Legacy Lecture

The Coastal Alabama Historical Society (CAHS) is hosting the 2nd annual Legacy Lecture on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, in the Neal Auditorium, located in the Neal Colonial Building. Beginning at 12:30 p.m., this year's Legacy Lecture will feature East Brewton native Nicholas Benjamin. Benjamin now serves as a Payload Operations Director, where he manages and directs the 24/7 science operations aboard the International Space Station (ISS). In this position, Benjamin serves as the single point of authority to the Space Station Flight Director at Johnson Space Flight Center. Through his service to his country and community, Benjamin serves as an excellent role model, and the Coastal Alabama Historical Society is excited to announce that Nick Benjamin will be this year's featured speaker.
