Associate Degree Nursing (RN) Program

- This is a full-time day program designed to prepare students to practice as competent registered nurses (RN) after passing the licensure exam.
- Students are awarded a Practical Nursing Certificate upon completion of the third semester and are eligible to take the practical nursing licensure exam for LPNs.
- Students who successfully complete the five-semester program are awarded an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and are eligible to take the licensure exam to become an RN.
Practical Nursing (LPN) Certificate Program
Atmore, Thomasville Campus: Apply August 1 – October 1 for Spring Semester and April 1 - June 1 for Fall Semester entry. View Application
Bay Minette Campus: Apply January 1 - March 1 for Summer Semester entry. View Application
- This is a full-time day program designed to prepare students to practice as competent Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).
- Students who successfully complete this program are awarded a Practical Nursing Certificate and are eligible to take the licensure exam to become an LPN.
- Graduates of this program may apply for the Mobility (LPN to RN) Program to complete the associate degree in nursing after having passed the NCLEX-PN.
- Students are not allowed to continue in the traditional ADN track past the third semester.
Mobility LPN & Paramedic to ADN (RN) Program
Application Cycle: April 1 – June 1, for Fall Semester entry on the Bay Minette, Brewton, or Thomasville campus. View Application
- This application is for current, Alabama licensed LPNs and Paramedics who would like to complete the Associate Degree in Nursing.
- This program is offered each fall semester on the Bay Minette, Brewton, and Thomasville Campuses.
