Orientation for Early College – Mandatory for New Students
Coastal Alabama provides opportunities for orientation sessions specific to our participating high school dual enrollment and accelerated students. These sessions will be offered in the summer months each year at each of our locations as well as online.

Mandatory Orientation
Are you a brand new early college student? If so, an orientation session is MANDATORY prior to your Fall start! Parents/Guardians are strongly encouraged to attend.
Though not mandatory for returning students, it is available as a resource. Returning students and their families are also encouraged to attend.
Students must have claimed and activated the new "Alabama" account prior to orientation!
Students should receive a claim code to activate the new account shortly after acceptance to the college. That email will go to the personal email we have on file. If you haven't claimed your account, look for an email from "noreply@rapididentity.com" and follow the instructions. Be sure to check your Spam/Junk folder!
Once you have that set up, you will use that “alabama.edu" account to log in to your college email through the Coyote Hub. There should be an email that will allow you to register for a session!
First time logging in? Keep your alabama.edu account information and password ready, you will need it several times.

Log into the Coyote Hub to check your email. Emails with registration links will start going out toward the end of the Spring term.
How to check for your orientation registration:
- Your email, “A-Number@alabama.edu” is your username. For example: A01234567@alabama.edu
- Your password is the one created when you claimed your account. There is a "Forgot Password" link on the Hub if you’ve already claimed your account.
- Click on the “Coastal Alabama Email” tile to access your email account. You may have to log in again if it is your first time. Search for the “Early College Orientation Registration” email from earlycollege@coastalabama.edu.
- If you have not received any emails from the Office of Early College, then email us directly at earlycollege@coastalalabama.edu.
