Course Overview:

This course will introduce a new concept of basic biology each week. Students will have the opportunity for a hands-on experience inside and outside of the lab to gain understanding of life's processes. Topics include microscope training, cells, diffusion, osmosis, mitosis, genetics, plant tissues and organs, and animals tissues and terms. Course includes dissection of seeds and a crayfish.
