Course Overview:
This course fulfills the requirements for the NHA Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) Exam. Emphasis will be placed on the knowledge, skills, and techniques of phlebotomy and specimen collection in various patient populations. Upon completion of this course and required clinical rotation (60 clinical hours that must include 30 successful sticks and 10 capillary or finger sticks). Upon successful completion of course and clinical rotation, students can sit for the NHA Certified Phlebotomy Technician written exam.
